(y) intermission - an afternoon retreat
Event description
As the year begins to speed up, give yourself permission to slow down. Join Kristy from Nurture Yoga for a deeply restorative afternoon retreat designed to help you prevent overwhelm, release tension, and create space in both body and mind.
This gentle yin yoga session is suitable for all levels—no experience needed. Through long, supported poses and mindful breathing, you'll have the opportunity to calm the nervous system and reset before the busy lead-up to Christmas.
What to Expect:
Soothing yin yoga practice
Space for stillness and reflection
Tools to support nervous system regulation
A peaceful setting to unwind and reconnect
Arrival from 1:45-1:55PM for a 2:00PM start. You'll be lead though a 90 minute Yin yoga practice including a period of stillness to seal in all of the goodness at the end. Invitation to stay for tea and connection to conclude the event.
WHAT TO BRING:
Yoga mat
Water
Comfortable, warm, unrestrictive clothing
Optional eye mask/towel to place over eyes
If you prefer to use your own blanket/bolster feel free to bring your own, otherwise we will have these available.
Optional cushion/pillow to support under your head at the end of the Yin practice.
