Event description

Meet the Makers Behind the Wines

From bold beginnings to boundary-pushing bottles, the winemakers featured at Yacht Allot of Wine represent some of NSW and Queensland's wine makers that aren't afraid to ride the tide.

  • Intrepidus Wines – Chrissie Smith creates vibrant, thoughtful wines from carefully selected sites in NSW. Intrepidus means to be fearless in the unknown and her wines embody that spirit, energy and exploration of varieties, blends and texture whilst ensuring the wines still speak of their land and place.

  • Sholto Wines – Crafted by Jake Carter, Sholto Wines showcases expressive, small-batch wines with a focus on balance, innovation, and a deep respect for Canberra’s cool climate terroir. Jake takes classic varieties from the Canberra district and makes then in a decidedly non-classic way to reveal surprising new dimensions.

  • Unnatural Urges Wines – Jonny Lee in the Granite belt is known for pushing boundaries, this label celebrates natural ferments, creative blends, and a rebellious spirit that challenges convention in every glass. Each bottle is a craft of 'elixir, that is to draw you deeper into the beyond'.

  • Knucklehead Wines – Kyle Goodwin champions minimal intervention and honest winemaking that speaks of place, purity, and persistence.  Knucklehead also based in the Granite belt is a celebration of small-batch winemaking and a love for the land. The wines are authentic, bold, and full of character – much like the hands that make them.

Tasting 2-4pm where you can taste through the wines and meet the wine makers behind the wine in the glass. Wine by the glass and bottle sales available.
