YACVic State Election Youth Sector Roundtable - Bendigo
Description
With the Victorian State Election coming up in November, Youth Affairs Council Victoria (YACVic) is finalising the youth sector’s priorities for policy and funding commitments from candidates.
YACVic's CEO Katherine Ellis invites you to join a consultation roundtable with youth sector workers in your local area to provide input on the draft priorities to her and our Policy team.
The draft priorities have been formulated based on our ongoing engagement and consultation with a diverse representation of young people and the youth sector across the state, and specialist alliances such as the Youth Mental Health Alliance, the Youth Housing Alliance, Smart Justice for Young People, and the Youth Disability Advocacy Service (YDAS).
UPDATE: In the interests of the community’s health and safety, this session has now been moved online due to the current COVID-19 Omicron wave.
Who should attend
This event has a regional focus. It is for anyone who works with young people in Loddon Campaspe.
We are hoping for a cross section of frontline workers as well as managers and CEOs.
Please note: this roundtable has a very limited number of places to ensure deeper conversations. Please nominate only one person to attend from your organisation.
