Weaving for Wellness Workshop with Bianca Templar

yAsp is excited to be hosting a day-long workshop with local truwulway/bunurong artist & social worker, Bianca Templar (takamuna rrala designs).

We will be learning about the art of weaving, the history and cultural significance of weaving - all while yarning and promoting a better social and emotional wellbeing.

When: Thursday 15th October, 2026

Where: Aboriginal Elders Council of Tasmania - Chalmers Hall - 163 St John Street, Launceston 7250

Time: 11:00am - 2:30pm

Who: Young people who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, aged 12-25

yAsp is able to provide some transport options, should these be required please indicate at checkout and someone will be in touch with you to discuss.
