Event description
These weekly workshops are designed to equip our senior participants with more sophisticated acting and theatre practices. Led by an industry professional, students will focus on script work, devising techniques and investigate elements of theatre.
Workshop components include:
- Voice and movement training.
- Ensemble building.
- Objectives in acting.
- Given circumstances.
- Character investigation.
- Devising and theatre making.
- Performance.
First term of the semester focuses on skill development and ensemble work, while the second term gives students a chance to use these skills and work together to devise a scripted show or perform chosen scenes from professional plays.
