Year 11 Advanced Mathematics to Get Ahead for 2026

2 days of intensive learning to prepare for Year 11 Advanced Mathematics – 2 hours each day.

Shirley will be covering the key Year 11 Advanced Term 1 topics to help students get ahead throughout this 4-hour course.

2 × 2-hour sessions on Tuesday 20th January and Thursday 24th January from 11am – 1pm on both days.

A valuable opportunity to strengthen core skills before starting the Year 11 Advanced syllabus, using exam-style questions across at least four key topics. The course will include worked solutions and live, interactive teaching to maximise student understanding.

ABOUT SHIRLEY:

Shirley Snoyman brings over 30 years of experience teaching, training and coaching students in both Australia and South Africa. Renowned for her calm presence, engaging teaching style and ability to bring out the personal best in every learner, Shirley is highly sought after by students and families alike.

Her specialties include High School Mathematics as well as Stress Management Techniques, particularly those designed to support students experiencing Maths Anxiety. For over seven years, she has taught all levels of High School Mathematics both privately and as the teacher of choice for long-service-leave cover at Moriah College. Her private Mathematics coaching books are currently full for two years, a reflection of the strong demand for her expertise and her deep connection with students.

Shirley has also worked with leading educators around the world, delivering teacher workshops abroad focused on the same stress-management strategies she uses to empower her students.

She holds an Honours degree in Mathematics, is a qualified Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner, and is a highly proficient NESA-registered teacher.
