Year 11 Ext 1 Mathematics - Getting Ahead for 2026

2 days of intensive learning to prepare Year 11 Extension 1 Mathematics students - 2.5 hours each day on the new syllabus.

Tuesday 20th and Tuesday 27th June 2026 from 5 pm - 7:30 pm each day.

ABOUT KAREN

In 2018, Karen joined the Mathematics Department at Reddam House.

Apart from being known for her use of terrible puns, Karen is regarded as knowledgeable, calm, caring and approachable by her students.

She has taught all levels of high school Mathematics including Year 12 Advanced, Extension 1 and Extension 2. 

Karen has recently left teaching at Reddam House and now balances family life with the sharing of her knowledge via tutoring.

She has tutored Mathematics since 2005 and has always been passionate about Mathematics education and accelerated study in Mathematics.

Karen graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Physics, and a Graduate Diploma of Education, with Science and Mathematics teaching double methods.

She was awarded the MANSW Teacher Education Student Prize in 2012 for her outstanding performance in her Mathematics Teaching Method studies and practicum.
