Year 12 2027 Commissioning Service

We are pleased to invite you to join us for the induction of the twenty-first Higher School Certificate cohort at St Columba Anglican School.

The ceremony will be held in The Iona Performing Arts Theatre on Tuesday 13 October 2026, commencing at 7.30am.

This service will mark the induction of our Year 12 students as leaders of the School. House Captains will be announced, and the full student leadership team will be commissioned as the 2027 Student Leadership Committee.

Alongside receiving their Year 12 badge, students will also be awarded their Australian Learner Competency Credential (ALCC). Jointly issued with the University of Melbourne, the ALCC recognises the development of important skills beyond traditional academic achievement. We look forward to presenting the Class of 2027 with this credential as part of the Commissioning Service.

Following the service, we invite you to join us for a light breakfast in The Iona Performing Arts Centre foyer and courtyard.

For catering purposes, please confirm your attendance below. As all incoming Year 12 students are expected to attend this important ceremony, please only RSVP for parents and caregivers attending the service.
