Student testimonials:
"Shirley has a skill of explaining content in ways she knows her students will absorb it. Her methodology to track errors when practicing past paper questions is brilliant. She is a star educator who definitely knows how to teach!"
"My Maths ability improved exponentially due to my lessons with Shirley. No other teacher has ever explained concepts so clearly and with such skill that even I could understand them. Advanced Mathematics is a tough course yet Shirley's passion for teaching and caring for her students helped me achieve the highest band."
Topics covered:
Day 1 :Â Trigonometry and Calculus
Day 2 :Â Statistics and Probability plus further Calculus (team teaching with Karen Jeroncic, our Ext 1 and Ext 2 teacher who is dynamic)Â
Day 3 : Functions (from the year 11 syllabus), Motion, Logs and Exponentials PLUS Probability Distributions
A brilliant opportunity for Advanced Mathematics students to consolidate their knowledge and be prepared for the HSC Exams. Exam-style questions covering the topics of the Advanced Mathematics course were presented with worked solutions given in an online and interactive course. This course was aimed at Advanced students who are not doing Ext 1 Mathematics as the pace was slower than the 4u2gr0w Ext 1 courses.Â
