Event description
Our junior classes introduce participants to theatre terminology and practises to create exciting stories and great performances. This course is designed to give participants specific skills in plot development, character creation and devising and to explore ideas of given circumstances and objectives.
Our workshops are semester based and run throughout the school terms. The first term of each semester will focus on developing acting, performance and creative collaboration skills. The second term will continue developing these skills as students work with their teaching artist to create an end-of-semester showcase performance performed at The Rebel Theatre. This can be focused on scripts or devised work using the students’ original creative ideas.
