Year 6 TC Footy: Transition + Resilience
Event description
Year 6 football students and parents/guardians are invited to an information session on Monday 5 September, which will feature a presentation from TC's own Chris Mayne.
The TC Footy journey has just begun and it's extremely exciting to have the year 6 footy cohort and their families joining the senior school football program. The students will continue with the same A's to C's process as this allows the coaches to identify talent levels and help everyone improve their football skills and IQ. The program is aimed at the year 7's to prepare them for 1st football by the time they are year 10-12's. The challenges ahead with this, are being dropped and not playing in the A's, this is where resilience will be crucial and the support of peers, coaches, and parents to help guide them along their football journey will be important.
