Year 9-10: How to Ace Essay Writing [HILLS IN-PERSON]

In years 9 or 10 and struggle with essay writing? Just can’t seem to wrap your head around it but want to improve?

In this workshop during the school holidays, one of our experienced English tutors is going to show you how to write the perfect essay!

We will help you:

• Craft a compelling thesis statement
• Identify key ideas to explore in your essay
• Write a clear, succinct introduction
• Construct relevant, insightful analysis of your text
• Use a TEE table to construct your paragraph.
• Craft topic and linking sentences
• Round out your essay with a clear conclusion

Why is it important to master this now?

Essay writing is probably the most important skill to have throughout all of Highschool English. It’s really important to get on top of it now as it’s something you’ll have to keep up all the way until your HSC exams!
