6 sessions, 1 hour each. An opportunity to take advantage of the expertise of a dedicated teacher in small group sessions to support current year 9 skills, while bridging gaps from Year 8.

The course will be run by an outstanding Mathematics teacher who is passionate about teaching and connecting with students, helping them achieve their personal best. 

Online Sessions. Weekly Thursday evenings, 6.30pm - 7.30pm beginning 29th February 2024 and ending 4th April 2024.

A golden opportunity for nurturing, patient and expert teaching to students with learning differences who require revision support.

About Michelle

Michelle is a highly motivated and dedicated Head of Mathematics currently on sabbatical from Emanuel School Randwick, with over 25 years Mathematics teaching classroom teaching experience in South Africa and Australia. Michelle is currently completing a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy at ACAP.

Michelle's background is in curriculum planning and management, development and integration of a learning community and encouraging an enriching learning environment that provides students with a solid educational foundation. 

Michelle is passionate about assessing student needs and providing them with learning opportunities to enable them to achieve. 

As a member of the NESA Mathematics writing team for the new NSW Senior Years Mathematics syllabuses and Member of the writing team for the Consultation Reports for the new NSW Mathematics Stage 6 syllabuses she provides up to date learning opportunities enabling them to achieve their personal best.

Michelle is passionate about student Wellbeing and the education of the whole child, consistently searching for ways to engage and motivate students, whilst looking after their Mental Health. She provides a learning environment, where she assess student needs and provides them with learning opportunities.

If a learner has not started a course and cannot attend it or there are not sufficient students to run the course, a credit will be issued for the next time that course will be run.
