Yellow Lamp celebrates its one-year anniversary with five poets and an open mic. Under the glow for Vol. 08, we have Amber Esau, Elise Sadlier, Eric Soakai, Sarah Krieg & Theo Coles. The open mic is first come, first serve, with signups on the night. We will also be offering hot drinks & snacks for sale for the first time ever!! The Yellow Lamp cafe? It's only a matter of time.

Ash Raymond James is a poet, performer, and essayist. He has been published in numerous publications and won poetry slams across the globe; he uses his words to push boundaries and challenge what poetry can be. When not captivating audiences with his performances, Ash coaches aspiring poets, helping them find their voice on both the page and the stage. He has a podcast that doubles as a digital workshop and writes a weekly newsletter he shares with his large social media following. He has won contests with Button Poetry and continues to find new ways to advance his voice. His latest poetry collection, ‘We Are All Dead,’ is out now.
