About the Yellow Rose Award 

The Zonta Club of Hervey Bay is hosting the 2025 Jenny Ferris Yellow Rose Award to recognise women in our community who have made a significant impact on the lives of others through their employment, volunteer activities, or associations. The Yellow Rose Award seeks to recognise and honour these women, and to provide visible examples to inspire the next generation of women and girls to achieve their greatest potential.

We will be running two raffles to raise funds for local not-for-profit organisations that work towards building a better world for women and girls in the community. Past recipients include Yoorana, PCYC Rise Up, Be Yourself Program, Women's Walk & Talk, J&T for the Homeless and Hervey Bay Girl Guides, among others.

1) Spring into Spring Major Raffle - prize valued at $450 includes:

Gorilla cart from Bunnings, Hervey Bay Garden Centre $30 voucher, Rock Minerals and Searles Plant Food from Possum Paradise, a raised garden bed with cover (60cm x 115cm x 80cm) plus MORE!! To be drawn at the Yellow Rose Luncheon, winner need not be present at the draw.
