YES& DIGITAL EVENT | Supporting “LOCAL: A Story of Hope”
- Q&A with Helena Norberg Hodge and Ella Noah Bancroft
Wednesday 15th December | 6 - 8pm AEDT / 7 - 9am GMT | OPEN ACCESS
Following the release of the new campaign film from Local Futures “LOCAL : A Story of Hope”, we’re hosting a Q&A session with two of the legends involved.
Registration is via open access, with the option to make contributions before, during and after the event.
All contributions for this event will go directly to supporting Helena's work at Local Futures and Ella's work at The Returning [read more about both of these epic organisations below].
This Q&A will be your opportunity to ask Helena and Ella about their work and hear their perspectives on both what we need to do AND who we need to be in order to live in deeper harmony with all life on our planet home.
We’re excited to be bringing together some powerful perspectives to explore what’s involved in making these positive changes a reality in our society.
About the film:
"LOCAL: A Story of Hope" brings forward a strong message which advocates for local, diversified economies thriving through local food and goods production, community cooperation and genuine human connection.
“Why are we running harder and faster just to keep a roof over our heads? Why is our food being flown around the world and back again? Why is the gap between rich and poor widening to obscene levels?… Because nation states are allowing global corporations to run the show.”
