Yetii are an acoustic piano trio from Bristol, playing a mix of original compositions and arrangements of popular tunes. Their first studio album Inner Worlds has received critical acclaim from BBC Radio 3, JazzFM, Jazzwise, and All About Jazz.

The trio combines flowing melodies with expansive group improvisations, interlocking grooves and evolving soundscapes. Yetii have built a following through a sold-out monthly residency in Bristol, including collaborations with Parliamentary Award winner Arun Ghosh, Edition’s Ant Law, and Mercury Award nominee Laura Jurd. Their concert hall debut in Bristol sold out to a 400-strong crowd, and they supported The Bad Plus on a recent UK tour.

Steamin' Jazz Club at the Steam and Whistle
Steamin’ is Cheltenham’s newest jazz club, hosted by a collaboration of experienced musicians from across the spectrum of jazz. It aims to offer monthly gigs, taking place at The Steam and Whistle, near Cheltenham Spa railway station.

The club is hosted at the Steam and Whistle, a beautiful Victorian pub opposite Cheltenham spa station (GL51 8NW). The pub has a purpose-built venue space that hosts a variety of music, comedy and creative arts, including Dom Joly’s monthly SpeakeaZy.
Food
The pub has quickly become known for its amazing food. Come early and enjoy the best pizza in town, and stay on for drinks after the gig.
Travel and parking
Situated close to Cheltenham spa railway station, the venue is well served by public transport. The nearest car park is at the station.
Return trains on Wednesdays:
Cheltenham to Stroud run up to 10.15pm.
Cheltenham to Bristol Temple Meads run up to 11pm.
