YICTE Lunch & Learn: Girls Programming Network
Event description
PRESENTATION DETAILS:
Renee Noble will share what the experience of what coming to Girls' Programming Network (GPN) is like for students, whether they are new to coding or have been doing it for years! She'll describe the day, what students can expect, and some of the big selling points of coming along.
She'll discuss some of the projects they build, the concepts they learn, and the impacts we have seen on students who have come along to GPN (many of whom have gone on to study computer science and are now giving back as volunteers!).
She'll have plenty of time to answer questions, and get into the benefits of getting students involved, whether that's to help them with their YICTE experience, to grow their love of tech, or to connect with other girls and gender-diverse students in our supportive and fun environment.
Renee will also discuss the opportunity for students and adults to build confidence and leadership skills through our opportunities to volunteer!
