yin yoga is a slow, deep and meditative practice, focusing on the inward, working on deep connective tissues - fascia, ligaments, joints - as well as tuning into both mind and physical sensation, holding poses for a longer period of time, borrowing Chinese principales of Qi - the energy- by releasing and restoring its flow.
