Dive deep into the transformational practice of Yin Yoga.
Suitable for anyone wanting to deepen their own understanding and/or teach others. You do not have to be a yoga teacher to take this course. Anyone with a keen interest in Yin Yoga, Taoism and Meditation is welcome.

Immerse yourself in the transformative art of Yin Yoga with this 50-hour face-to-face teacher training.

This journey invites you to explore the depths of stillness, mindfulness, and the profound wisdom of the body. Guided by experienced teachers, you’ll delve into the philosophy, anatomy, and subtle energetics of Yin Yoga—empowering you to hold space for others with confidence and authenticity.

Whether you're a seasoned teacher or simply passionate about deepening your practice, this training provides a nurturing environment to expand your knowledge and connect with like-minded souls. Rediscover the beauty of slowing down and honouring the quiet whispers within.

What You Will Learn:

  • The history and philosophy of Yin Yoga

  • Fascia and its role in Yin Yoga poses

  • Functional anatomy and physiology

  • Taoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine theory

  • 5 Element Theory and Meridian energy lines

  • Taoist meditations and mindfulness practices

  • How to prop Yin Yoga poses for different body types

  • How to sequence Yin classes intentionally for deep energetic and physiological benefit

  • Working with injuries and understanding contraindications to postures

  • The art of storytelling and weaving themes into your classes

  • Creating a grounded and intuitive teaching presence

  • Planning and sequencing transformative Yin Yoga classes

Upon completion, you'll receive a 50-hour certificate recognised by Yoga Alliance International, which can contribute to your 300-hour qualification.

Note: You do not need to be a qualified yoga teacher to participate in this training.

The full cost of the 50-hour training is $1300.
An early bird rate of $1100 is available when paid in full at least 6 months in advance, limited early bird spots available.


About Your Facilitator
Clare Lovelace began teaching yoga in Sydney’s Inner West in 2013 under the mentorship of Matthew Bergan. She has been a full-time teacher ever since.

Clare has trained with esteemed teachers including Sarah Powers, Jasmine Tarkeshi, Shiva Rae, Donna Farhi, and Simon Borg-Olivier, completing thousands of hours of teacher training.

In 2018, she left city life behind to explore Australia in her van, which led her to Batemans Bay where she founded Soul Tribe Studio. As founder, director, and primary teacher, Clare has facilitated exceptional teacher trainings since 2018 and led over 30 retreats and tens of thousands of classes across Australia and the world.

Her approach to teaching is infused with creativity, heart, and a deep reverence for life. Clare brings joy, authenticity, and a soulful touch to every space she holds, empowering students to discover the magic that already lives within them.
