❓ What’s the age range for this trip?


✅ This trip is open to all Young Jewish Professionals aged 20–45, regardless of prior Israel experiences.

❓ What are the exact dates for travel and mission? 

✅ The trip includes 9 nights in Israel. You will arrive in Israel on the 8th and depart on the 17th arriving back in Melbourne on the 18th.

❓ What type of accommodation is included?

✅ You'll be staying in comfortable hotel accommodations – not hostels or campsites! Rooms are single-gender and shared, with no more than 3 people per room.

❓ Can I request a private room?

✅ Yes! If you’d prefer a completely private room, you can upgrade during booking for an additional cost via the YJP registration link.

❓ I’m coming with my partner. Can we stay in a couples’ room?

✅ Definitely! Couples' rooms are available by request for a small additional cost – select this option when booking through the YJP link.

❓ Can I share a room with a friend?

✅ Definitely! Similar to booking a couples' room. Use the same upgrade option when booking through the YJP link.

❓ What's included in the YJP upgrade?

✅ The YJP package includes additional dining experiences, immersive tours, and transport to all the additional activities. 

❓ Is this just a Birthright trip or something different?

✅ It’s a unique hybrid! The core program is Birthright-Taglit, but it’s been especially curated and upgraded by YJP Melbourne – giving you the best of both worlds.

❓ Can I book my own flights?

✅ Yes, if you're not flying in/out of Melbourne or want flexibility, self-booking is an option.

❓ Can I extend my stay in Israel after the trip ends?

✅ Yes! You’re welcome to extend your ticket to stay longer in Israel. This can be done at your own expense when changing your flight booking. We'll help guide you through the process if needed!

❓ Is the trip religious?

✅ Not at all – the trip is open to all Jewish backgrounds and levels of observance.

❓ Do I need to be super fit or able to hike?

✅ Not at all – the itinerary is designed to be fun and manageable for everyone, with breaks and options to sit out of more active parts if needed.
