Grounding Rajas Guna

Immerse in the practices of Yoga and Ayurveda to return to a state of balance and equip yourself with tools to manage the effects of stress and anxiety, naturally.

During the 3 hour workshop you can expect:

  • Learn about the nervous system and the impact and wisdom of stress and anxiety on body, mind emotion and spirit.

  • Undertake Yoga practices that target the lower chakras and the down ward flowing energy to cultivate calm and grounding.

    • Ayurvedic theory informing therapeutic yoga for Vata Dosha, Apana Vayu, Earth element and Water element.

    • Asana Pranayama, bandha, mudra, mantra, yantra, meditation.

  • Undertake Ayurvedic practices that target the nervous system in overcoming Vata Dosha.

    • Ayurvedic Moon Milk with Ashwaghanda*

    • Abhyanga (warm oil self massage)

    • Dinacharya (morning and evening habits)

  • Journalling and reflection time to create your own Mental Health Tool Kit within your take-home activity book.

  • Small group of 7 people only.

  • Trauma aware facilitation
