In honor of Filipino American Heritage Month, join us for a transformative event themed around letting go. Led by therapist Lia Mancao, along with yoga instructors Jules Baca and Kate Espanol, this experience will guide you through one hour of journaling and one hour of yoga. Both the yoga poses and reflection questions are carefully curated around the theme of letting go, helping you release what no longer serves you and reconnect with yourself.

Whether you're into self-reflection, healing, or meeting like-minded people, this event is for you—and it's open to anyone! You'll have the option to choose whether to begin with journaling or yoga, allowing you to tailor your experience to your personal needs.

This is a beginner-friendly, intro yoga course—no prior experience required. In Los Angeles, drop-in yoga classes typically cost at least $30, but for the price of this event, you'll receive an hour of yoga, guided journaling with a licensed therapist, and a self-care goodie bag. On top of that, there will be raffle prizes for additional treats!

Please arrive 30 minutes early to enjoy light refreshments, snacks, and time to socialize. A 15-minute intermission will give you space to transition between activities. Everyone will leave with a curated goodie bag to continue their self-care journey at home.

There is both street and lot parking available for your convenience. If you'd like to arrive earlier, feel free to explore the nearby cafes and enjoy the charm of the little downtown area before the event begins.

3:30 PM – Arrival & Refreshments
Arrive early to settle in, enjoy some light refreshments, and meet new people. Take this time to ground yourself before the event begins.
4:00 PM – Event Begins: Choose Your First Activity
Select whether you'd like to start with either yoga or journaling. Space for each activity is first come, first served, so arrive early to secure your spot for your preferred starting activity.
4:00 - 5:00 PM – First Activity
Whether you begin with yoga or journaling, enjoy this hour focused on letting go and reconnecting with yourself.
5:00 - 5:15 PM – Intermission
Take a 15-minute break to rest, connect with others, and transition to the next activity.
5:15 - 6:15 PM – Second Activity
Switch to the next activity (yoga or journaling) for another hour of reflection and movement.
6:15 PM – Raffle & Goodie Bags
Stay for the raffle prizes and don’t forget to collect your curated goodie bag as a thank-you for joining us on this journey of self-care and connection!
