    Yoga Essentials hosted by Meraki Yoga

    Yoga Essentials is for anyone who is new to yoga or is wanting to return to their practice and needs a refresher.  This is a three-week series where you will be instructed on the shapes (asana’s) of yoga.  As you are guided through the practice you will be given instruction on how to modify the shapes to suit your body.  There will be some introductory breathwork to accompany the practice. 

    Students do not need any prior experience in the practice of yoga. 

    During this three-part series students will:

    • gain knowledge of the basic shapes and movements of yoga;
    • be given time to explore the practice so they are comfortable with how it feels in their body and guidance to make modifications to the shapes to suit their body;
    • be guided through basic breathwork techniques; and
    • achieve confidence to attend a regular yoga practice once the series has finished.

    Time and Dates:

    7am- 8am, Saturday 12 / 19 /26 October 2024

    Wollombi Community Hall

    Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time to set up your mat and get comfortable.


    Cost:

    $60 for all three lessons.  Lessons not sold individually.


    What to bring:

    • Please wear comfortable clothing to move around in.  Depending on the weather you might want to wear layers. 
    • Mat
    • Water bottle
    • All other props will be supplied
