Description
Yoga for Balance of body, mind, emotion & spirit – Ahimsadhara
Ahimsa’s class will be gentle and accessible, nourishing the whole person. She has practiced yoga for most of her life and has been teaching since 2003. The benefits of Satyananda yoga are wide-ranging, reducing stress, increasing resilience, enhancing concentration, and settling into a sense of inner peace.
She is a highly regarded teacher and presenter in Australia and internationally. For 20 years Ahimsa managed yoga centres in Hobart. She pioneered the use of yoga for trauma recovery, teaching war veterans, war victims, refugees, and individuals, including in Colombia, Europe, England, and Serbia. Ahimsa has trained Satyananda Yoga teachers in Australia and India.
Ahimsa teaches with warmth, wisdom, and humour, drawing on her rare depth of experience and knowledge of traditional yoga principles and practices. We are delighted to have her join us for our Retreat in September to teach and present. Discover how these practices foster self-awareness and personal growth. This class is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.
