YOLO Solos Vol.8: feat. Synergy percussion duo Rebecca Lloyd-Jones and Joshua Hill

Hayes Street presents Synergy Percussion's Joshua Hill and Rebecca Lloyd-Jones who will perform an eclectic and intimate program featuring the music of Michael Askill, Alyssa Weinberg, and Synergy's own co-created composition entitled "3 Miniatures". Praised as “captivating” (San Diego Union-Tribune), Rebecca Lloyd-Jones has performed professionally across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania, presented at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, and held residences at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Canada. She is currently the Artistic Director of Australian chamber ensemble, Synergy Percussion.

 Joined by pianist Lee Dionne and flautist Rosie Gallagher, the program is rounded out by the stirring Wish Sonatine by American composer Valerie Coleman.
