Event description

You’re invited to an exclusive opportunity to visit the Australian Wildlife Conservancy’s Yookamurra Wildlife Sanctuary.

Step inside the 1,100 hectare, feral predator-free area, normally closed to the public, which is home to some of Australia’s most threatened wildlife such as the Greater Bilby, Numbat, Burrowing Bettong and Brush-tailed Bettong. Immerse yourself in the Mallee, and discover the tracks and traces of nocturnal mammals. Learn of ways to reverse the tide on extinction, and have all your questions answered over a relaxing barbecue lunch.

Find out how AWC is helping to save Australia’s endangered animals, and how you can help reverse the tide of extinction.

  • 2.45pm - 7.30pm, which includes a day time walking tour, BBQ dinner and spotlighting at night
