Yosemite Songwriting "In Person" Retreat

The Yosemite Songwriting Retreat celebrates the art and craft of songwriting and performing original songs. Our mission is to support songwriters at all skill levels and in a variety of genres, create an inspiring and supportive community, and provide a safe space where individuals can express themselves through music.

Join us for a unique event in an intimate venue, designed to connect members of the songwriting community and develop our individual skill sets. You'll enjoy two days of classes, mentor sessions, workshops and performance opportunities with Joe Craven, Hattie Craven, Abby Posner, Alice di Micele, Ava Burns, Gail Dreifus,and David Budries. 

We kick off the event on Friday evening, Oct 11th with a concert featuring your instructors. Throughout the weekend, you'll enjoy inspiring classes focusing on various aspects of songwriting and performing. 

• Book a 20 minute, one-on-one mentor session with one of our instructors to help you with a specific element of your song.
• Share your songs in progress with other participants at a Song Salon to get feedback and encouragement. 
• When you’ve got something you’re ready to share, perform at one of our evening open mic sessions.
• Enjoy heathy meals at The Grove House included with the cost of the ticket (Sat and Sun). Friday night The Grove House is open to the public and you can purchase your dinner there if you'd like or come and explore our quaint little  town before the opening concert.
