You Me Nature Now

We need nature, and nature needs us - perhaps now more than ever...

If you're: 

• 18-25
• are passionate about the environment and interested to work in or volunteer in this space
  
• looking to connect with other nature lovers to share knowledge, skills, and ideas
• all whilst enjoying beautiful, restorative surroundings

Then you're invited to You Me Nature Now - a 2 day immersive, nature-based mini-break at Outward Bound, Tharwa. 

Facilitated by Landcare ACT (the peak representative body for community Landcare in the ACT), the weekend gathering is designed to be an exchange, a mix of talks, workshops and hand-on experiences in which you can:
- Learn about possible career pathways by meeting people already working in the environment sector in diverse roles
- Find out about environmental volunteering and ways you can contribute through citizen science
- Cultivate your own nature connection practice for health and wellbeing
- Explore what it means to live with climate change anxiety and eco-grief
- Try your hand at nature-based expressive art 
- Get adventurous and challenge yourself on the high ropes course
- Meet and mingle with others over a meal or riverside walk
 
Return bus transfers from Canberra's CBD, cabin accommodation, and all meals will be provided (just bring your sleep gear and personal items).
* Please note: this is not a "FREE" experience, but rather a generously subsidised one, valued at over $250/person, supported by an ACT Government Environment Grant.

There are only 30 spaces available, and registrations will close on 20 January so secure your space now 

A full itinerary will be provided closer to the event. To ensure you are safe and supported, you will be required to supply medical and dietary information to Outward Bound, these forms will be provided to you electronically in January once registration has closed.
