Event description
When Kelly, a nerdy teenager, turns a portable classroom into a time machine, a mischievous detention class is sent hurtling back through history! The time-warped team discovers marauding Vikings, pilates-practicing pirates, disco-happy Gladiators, a rapping Romeo and Juliet and the infamous Oedipus on the ‘Sophie Clees’ show!
Drawing a parallel between the hierarchical history and the modern schoolyard, You’re History! Is a rollicking musical that will have you in stitches one minute and oohing and ahhing with romantic tension the next. Chock-full of wonderful characters, hilarious historical mayhem with thought-provoking themes and sensational songs, this hip, intelligent production will rock the house!!
Friday and Saturday nights - BYO food and beverages. Dress to impress either as a school kid, Viking, pirate, Ancient Greek or Roman to win our costume competition.
