    About the workshop:

    Hosted by the Youth Affairs Council of WA, in this workshop you will:

    • Work through some challenges facing young people in the City that have been identified through the consultations
    • Learn about the different levels of advocacy, including real world examples
    • Explore the four roles in advocacy, and discover which role you resonate with
    • Work through the barriers to change, and brainstorm ways to overcome them
    • Craft your own mock advocacy campaign with a group
    • Learn about the strategies to get your advocacy campaign off the ground
    • Brainstorm your next steps for after the workshop
