About the workshop:
Hosted by the Youth Affairs Council of WA, in this workshop you will:
- Work through some challenges facing young people in the City that have been identified through the consultations
- Learn about the different levels of advocacy, including real world examples
- Explore the four roles in advocacy, and discover which role you resonate with
- Work through the barriers to change, and brainstorm ways to overcome them
- Craft your own mock advocacy campaign with a group
- Learn about the strategies to get your advocacy campaign off the ground
- Brainstorm your next steps for after the workshop
