Young Family Purim Party with PJ Library - East side
Event description
What do superheroes, costume parties, and delicious cookies have in common? Purim! Just like classic tales of bravery and disguise, Purim is a Jewish holiday that celebrates standing up for what’s right — even when it’s difficult.
Join jHUB and PJ Library for a pre-Purim celebration where families can explore the holiday together. You’ll prepare hamantaschen (triangle-shaped cookies) to take home and bake, enjoy festive Purim activities, and show off your fun costumes!
Purim tells the story of Queen Esther, who courageously revealed her Jewish identity to save her people from oppression. Together, we’ll reflect on themes of truth, resilience, and taking action in the face of challenges—timeless values for everyone!
Come in costume, bring your curiosity, and get ready for a sweet and meaningful celebration!
Registration will close on February 26th. Please sign up ASAP if you'd like to join us!
