Young Family Sukkot on the Farm
Event description
From apple picking to farmer’s markets, connecting with our food is a special experience — and Sukkot invites families to deepen that connection by celebrating this Jewish harvest festival and the earth's abundance. At this family-friendly event, we’ll explore those themes at Rid-All Farm, learning how food grows and where it comes from.
As we tour the farm, we’ll also discover the meaning of the sukkah, a symbol of shelter and gratitude. Whether you're just beginning to explore Sukkot or have celebrated it before, this morning is centered around togetherness and creating lasting family memories.
The event starts promptly at 10 a.m.! Weather permitting, we’ll enjoy the outdoors with other interfaith families and their little ones!
Registration is free and will open until Friday, October 18, at 2 p.m. If you would like to sign up after that date, please email Julia Rothschild at jrothschild@jecc.org.
