YOUNG GUNS SPEAKEASY WORKSHOP

WHO ARE WE??
We are a public speaking club but we meet at a bar! We’re serious about improving our public speaking skills but make it casual and fun, no fluorescent light office vibes, think open mic night meets EOFY party. Yeayy!

PASSWORD TO ENTER
It is a Speakeasy night so you will need a password to enter. At the top of the staircase to Oasis Comedy Club, there is a black metal door. For most meetings, we have it open. But for one night only, it will be closed and you will need a password to enter. Password will be released the day before (16th Sept) on our socials. So be sure to follow us on our socials and get the password or miss out (that sucks).

TO ENTER
Doors open at 530pm for a sharp 6pm start. Latecomers will be not be allowed in. Knock on the metal door, say the correct password and our bouncer will let you in. Get a name tag and pick a seat. 

PARKING:
There is parking next to Brisbane Hotel, first hour is free using the machine or EasyPark app. There is also free street parking on Brisbane Street behind the hotel or next to Birdwood Square.

ON ARRIVAL:
From front entrance, walk straight pass the bar on the right. Stay outdoors. You should see our Young Guns sign ahead. If not, keep walking until you see the stair case on your right. Walk up the stairs (about 20 steps) to level 1. Walk down the hallway, pass the toilets on your right, Oasis comedy club is the second last room on the left.

GUESTS:
You’re most welcome to join us. No prior experience or preparation needed. We usually invite the guests to say a few words at the end of the meeting. Of course you’re welcome to pass if you don’t feel comfortable. 

AFTER THE MEETING:
Most of us stay back for dinner and drinks until 9pm. You’re most welcome to join us for networking. Dinner and drinks is at your own expense. If you have any questions, the best place to message us is on Facebook “Young Guns Perth” @younggunsperth
