Young Queerios: Create & Grow
Event description
Join Queer Family for another Create & Grow workshop! Create & Grow is a free program for LGBTQIA+ and Questioning 12-18 year olds who are interested in making friends and learning skills in homesteading, gardening, permaculture and more!
When:
Sat 21st September 1-3pm @ the Paddock Project, Mullum
What:
We're looking at medicinal and food plants, we'll do art and we'll create our own tea blends. 🌿🥕🍓
If you just want to hang out, that's ok too!
Who:
Young Queerios is a safe space to connect, explore, be creative, have fun and make friends. If you're 12-18 years and identify as Queer, or you're still figuring it out, then Young Queerios is for you!
Gender diverse and Neurospicy folks will find their identities respected at Queer Family.
We can cater to most needs, just let us know if there's something we need to do to make the space more accessible and feel safer for you.
Food:
Snacks are provided - let us know if you have any allergies!
Transport:
We can offer fuel vouchers to support your attendance and may be able to organise a lift.
If you are looking for a lift, you MUST give us AT LEAST 3 days' notice.
