Young Queerios Holiday Program - Day 3 Kayaking the Brunswick River
Event description
Celebrate the Spring holidays and Mental Health Month with your Queer Fam. We're hosting a three-day Young Queerios event designed for young people aged 12-24. The program is all about exploring Queer self-expression through art, connecting with nature, and supporting mental well-being
Day 3 (11th Oct): Kayaking adventure
- After two days of artistic exploration, we're gonna take to the water for a day of kayaking.
- Get into nature, contemplate the art we've created and connect with your peers.
We will meet at The Byron Community College in Mullumbimby and drive everyone to the Brunswick River for a kayaking adventure (Kayaks supplied by us)
This event is part of our commitment to Mental Health Month. Throughout the workshops and kayaking, we'll integrate conversations and activities focused on mental well-being, resilience, and the importance of self-care in the Queer community.
Come celebrate your identity and make some new friends 🌈 🎨 🛶
The Holiday Break Program is funded by the NSW Government.
