Young Queerios Sewing Hang
Event description
Get Creative with Sewing & Embroidery! ✨🧵
Calling all creative Queer young people aged 12 and up! Young Queerios is a fun, inclusive space where you can explore self-expression, make friends, and learn new skills in an affirming environment.
Join us on Saturday, November 9th, from 1-3 PM at Byron Community College, Mullumbimby for a special sewing and embroidery workshop! Led by Christina from The Art of Sewing (https://theartofsewing.net/), this session will cover sewing basics and embroidery techniques — from adding lettering and shapes to embellishing your favourite items. Whether you’re new to sewing or looking to learn something new, you’ll leave with skills to personalise your clothing and accessories in creative ways.
Bring along your friends (and any fabric or items you want to work on) and get ready to create with other Young Queerios ❤️🌈
