A Night at The Movies with The Ireland Funds Young Leaders

Join the Melbourne Young Leaders for a night at the Movies. We will show Pixie, a movie shot in native Ireland. Join us in the cinema lounge from 6pm for drinks, snacks and craic. We’ll then move into the theatre for a brief welcome from The Ireland Funds and the movie showing. After, we’ll all convene back in the cinema lounge.
About the movie
To avenge her mother's death, Pixie masterminds a heist but must flee across Ireland from gangsters, take on the patriarchy, and choose her own destiny.
Released in 2020, Pixie is a black comedy thriller set in Ireland. Directed by Barnaby Thompson, the film stars Olivia Cooke, Ben Hardy, Daryl McCormack, Colm Meaney and Alec Baldwin.Â

Tickets cost $40 and include entry to the movie and a treat pack from Taste Ireland, the largest distributor of Irish and UK food brands in the Southern Hemisphere.
This is a fundraising event, with all proceeds going to Ireland Funds Young Leaders supported charities. This year the Young Leaders are supporting BeyondBlue in Australia, and MyMind in Ireland
