Your Body Is Not Broken Book Launch
Description
THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO UNIVERSITY HOUSE MEMBERS, UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE STAFF, ALUMNI, AND THEIR GUESTS
University House is pleased to partner with APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist, Clinical Educator, and PhD Candidate Kusal Goonewardena for the launch of his latest book, Your Body Is Not Broken.
Drawing on nearly three decades of experience working with elite athletes across a broad range of sports, Kusal has developed practical strategies to help people better understand and care for their bodies. At this special event, he will share insights from his latest work and discuss the inspiration behind the book.
Your Body Is Not Broken is his fourth book. In it, Kusal takes the methods he developed for elite athletes and distils them for everyone else. The complexity of the human body is simplified into a 3-minute nervous system reset that anyone can use, whatever their age or fitness.
Join us at Professors Walk on Wednesday 4 November from 6.00pm for an engaging evening of conversation, learning and networking. Light refreshments will be provided, and all attendees will receive a signed copy of the book as part of their ticket.
We look forward to welcoming members, alumni, staff and guests for this special launch event.
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket to allow others to attend
