Do you want to pause, and take the time to open into poetry? Could your writing life use more attention, experimentation, and inspiration? Do you want to enjoy the power of writing in community?
In this hour, led by experienced writer and educator Nadia Rhook, we'll respond to a series of guided visual and poetry prompts that unlock your creativity to generate new ideas, words, and poems.
Your facilitator:
Nadia Rhook is a non-Indigenous poet, writer, and historian and the author of two history-themed poetry collections: boots (UWA Publishing, 2020), and Second Fleet Baby (Fremantle Press, 2022).
With over two decades of experience as a teacher and mentor, Nadia has delivered poetry and creative writing workshops for various public and student audiences, including the Perth Festival, Melbourne Writers Festival, Western Australian Poets Inc., and the Sonic Poetry Festival (Naarm). www.nadiarhook.com
