Youth Advisory Groups 2026 - Application Info Session

Applications are now open for the 2026 Youth Advisory Groups.

Join the Australian Government's Office for Youth to hear about our 2026 Youth Advisory Groups. Ask any questions about the application process and how to write an application for the advisory groups. 

Youth Advisory Group members work with the Australian Government on the development of policies or programs that matter to young people.

Who will I be working with?

In 2026, the advisory groups will be: 

• Sports Participation Youth Advisory Group, working with the Australian Sports Commission.

• Countering Foreign Interference Youth Advisory Group, working with the Department of Home Affairs.

• Mental Health Youth Advisory Group, working with the National Mental Health Commission.

• Climate Change & Water Youth Advisory Group, working with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment & Water. 

• First Nations Youth Advisory Group, working with the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS).

Applications are open from 1 to 26 October 2025.
