Got an idea for a Youth Climate Action Fund project and want a hand with your application, ideas or next steps?
Come along to one of our drop-in sessions at Envirohub BOP for one-on-one support with your project and application. Whether you’re still shaping your idea or already have a project underway, we can help you work through the details, brainstorm, ask questions and navigate the application process.
A bit about the fund
The Youth Climate Action Fund supports rangatahi aged 15-24 to develop and deliver youth-led climate action projects in Tauranga, with $2,000-$8,000 available per project. The fund is managed locally by Tauranga City Council, with support from Envirohub Bay of Plenty.

Envirohub staff have experience with funding applications and can help you iron out the details and make the process feel a little less daunting.
There’s no formal workshop or presentation, just drop in, have a chat and get the support you need.
Session times
Monday 14 September: 3:30-6:30pm
Tuesday 15 September: 11am-2pm
Wednesday 16 September: 3:30-5:30pm
Thursday 17 September: 11am-2pm
Location: Envirohub Bay of Plenty, 31B Glasgow Street, Tauranga
When booking, select the day that works for you and let us know what time you plan to arrive. You can stay for as much or as little time as you need, and you’re welcome to come as an individual or with your group.
Free - registration required.

About the Youth Climate Action Fund
Tauranga is one of just 300 cities worldwide receiving funding through the Bloomberg Philanthropies Youth Climate Action Fund.
The fund supports young people to develop and deliver their own climate action projects in their communities.
