Event description

In this workshop, participants will develop essential communication skills to more effectively engage the young people they work with.

Through interactive delivery, participants will learn strategies for fostering connection, building trust, and creating an inclusive atmosphere where youth feel safe and heard. Participants will explore how to tailor their communication to the needs of diverse youth populations, using active listening, empathy, and storytelling to connect on a deeper level.

Additionally, the workshop will focus on developing public speaking skills, equipping participants with the confidence to present in both professional and youth-oriented contexts. By practising voice modulation, body language, and structured content delivery, they will enhance their ability to engage, inspire, and lead discussions in their work settings.

Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm

Other: Refreshments included; participants will be given a one-hour break at 12:30 pm for lunch
