Youth Crew - Register here! Campbelltown Library
Event description
The Youth Crew!
You are joining a program of activities which will give you a unique view of how volunteers operate in our community, as well as having lots of fun in the process!
Many of our activities will focus on helping our local wildlife, plants and environment for the future of Campbelltown. Some of the activities will focus on what volunteering looks like in Campbelltown - you will be able to participate in events from behind the scenes, and to see what volunteers do in different roles.
Some of the planned activities may change, we will keep you updated!
Our program runs monthly- and if you book a ticket here you will have registered for the club. You will still need to book in to each club event as some have limited places- but only club members will be able to book in.
You will be sent an access code to each club event when tickets go on sale. Only club members will get an access code and will be able to book into the events.
February: Photographing Campbelltown, a local history initiative. This month's event is on Humantix without an access code- you will need to buy a ticket to have a place at that event.
March: Clothes Op-Swap, pushing back against fast fashion.
April: ReWilding Fifth Creek
May: BookViews- video review books for the library
June: Make a Bat Habitat box with the Rotary Community Shed.
July: Big Games Day- help out with a library event
August: Wear it Purple Day, an event for supporting LGBTQIA+ young people.
September: Book Buy, help the library restock great books.
October: Halloween event, it's just movies, spooky make up and bubble tea.

You will meet many volunteers doing great work in the community!
