We expect that all attendees will

Engage in good faith. Assume that other attendees, including those you disagree with, are participating because they care about the wellbeing of children and young people affected by these issues.
Direct disagreement at ideas, not individuals. We welcome rigorous critique of arguments and evidence, but will not tolerate personal attacks.
Let speakers finish. Save questions, challenges, and rebuttals for the Q&A or discussion period designated by the session moderator.
Follow moderator guidance on time limits, format, and turn-taking.
Treat all attendees with courtesy, regardless of their background, personal experiences with gender-related care, or position on the issues discussed.
Respect requests for privacy, particularly from patients and family members who share personal experiences.
Identify yourself accurately. Misrepresenting your credentials, affiliation, or purpose for attending, or registering for the conference under a pseudonym, is not permitted. Anyone found to be misrepresenting themselves will be removed from the conference.

We expect that all attendees will refrain from

Shouting down, interrupting, or heckling
Harassment of any kind
Physical altercations or aggressive physical conduct
Unauthorized recording, photography, livestreaming or live-tweeting of conference sessions
Publishing or threatening to publish another attendee's personal information without consent (doxxing)
Distribution of unauthorized promotional or protest materials inside the conference venue
Monopolization of Q&A or discussion time at the expense of other attendees
Deliberate attempts to disrupt, derail, or prevent the conference or any session from proceeding as scheduled

Conference organizers will determine appropriate responses to reported violations, which may include a verbal warning, removal from a session, removal from the conference without refund, or a bar on attending future SEGM events. In cases involving safety concerns, organizers reserve the right to involve venue security or local law enforcement. Organizers' decisions on enforcement are final.
