OzGREEN and CLIMATE CHANGE AND CONSCIOUSNESS (CCC) are teaming up to amplify the capacity of young people to lead a grass roots movement and accelerate the transformation of communities.


Central to YLTW is the energising and transformative 3-day youth leadership congress. Through YLTW young people become: 

  •    INFORMED: about global challenges and sustainable living.
  •    INNOVATORS: develop action plans for positive social change.
  •    INTERCONNECTED: with change-makers locally and globally.

To date OzGREEN has trained over 1100 people globally to run YLTW in their own region. Through YLTW, OzGREEN is openly sharing the skills and experience we have gained over 30 years of delivering of recognized excellence in transformative leadership programs.


KEY PROGRAM DATES

INFO SESSION: 29 January 2021 (AEDT Sydney 30 Jan)

YLTW FACILITATOR TRAINING: 26-27-28 February 2021 - 3 hours each day (AEDT Sydney start 27 Feb)

YLTW GLOBAL ONLINE CONGRESS: 26-27-28 March 2021 - 3.5 hours each day (AEDT Sydney 27 March)

YOUTH LEADING THE WORLD (YLTW)

Imagine hundreds of young people coming together across the planet, to tackle global sustainability challenges such as water, energy, food, climate change, biodiversity, waste and plan together how they can create positive social change. 

YLTW is an OzGREEN initiative that enables young people to find their voice and become active participants in creating fairer futures. Youth leadership, social innovation and community driven change are key. 

GLOBAL CHALLENGES

  • Measure your ecological footprint
  • Listen to our Pulse of the Planet presentation (local and global sustainability challenges)
  • Prioritise your concerns
  • Create a vision for a fairer future

BE THE CHANGE 

    • Brainstorm ways to create change 
    • Develop a One Planet Living Plan
    • Listen to some inspiring change stories
    • Develop an action plan to achieve your vision for a fairer future 


    YOUTH-LED COMMUNITY FORUM 

    • Organise and plan a youth-led Community Forum
    • Invite government, local businesses, parents, teachers, principals and the public to attend your Forum
    • Gain support for your action plan

    ONGOING MENTORING

    • Receive ongoing support as you implement your action plan
