Youth MHFA - Baw Baw Live4Life
This 14-hour Youth Mental Health First Aid course teaches any adult (18 years and over) how to provide initial support to adolescents experiencing a mental health problem or crisis. This course is a Blended delivery session, with self-paced eLearning (5-7 hours), followed by a one day (7 hours) face-to-face sessions
During the course you will learn about;
- Adolescent development
- Signs and symptoms of common mental health problems in young people
- Where and how to get help
- What sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and
- How to provide first aid in crisis situations
Participants will receive a Youth Mental Health First Aid manual and Certificate of Accreditation on successful completion of the course.

Self-paced learning (5-7 hours) - module access provided via email.
Face-to-Face session Wednesday 30 July; 9am-5pm
