The Youth Mental Health First Aid course equips adults with the skills to support young people who may be experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis.
Over the two days, you’ll learn how to:
Recognise the signs of common mental health concerns in adolescents
Approach and support a young person in distress
Provide initial help until professional support is available or the situation improves
Connect young people with the right resources and services
Encourage open conversations that reduce stigma and promote help-seeking
This course is ideal for parents, carers, teachers, coaches, youth workers, and anyone who supports young people.
Practical, evidence-based, and developed through expert research, the training gives you a clear action plan to confidently respond when a young person needs help.
