Youth Mental Health First Aid is a two day accredited training for the community, workers and professionals to support clients, friends, family members, and others who are struggling with their mental health. This youth course is for adults supporting young people.

1 in 4 young Australians experience a common mental illness each year. Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training will teach you practical skills to support young people with a mental health problem. Make a real difference to people in your family, community or workplace.

Topic discussed: What is mental illness, adolescent development. action plan to support someone, depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety disorders, panic attacks, eating disorder, self injury, psychotic disorders and substance misuse. Along with a take home manual.
