This workshop is for kids (ages 7 - 12) who LOVE art-making, inventing, crafts, and bringing their creative ideas to life resourcefully!

At this single-day SCRAP workshop, we will be teaching the Japanese method of paper marbling called suminagashi (墨流し or “floating ink”). In the morning, we'll spend time practicing our marbling technique, experimenting with different kinds of inks and papers to make gorgeous, handmade pieces of art. After lunch, we'll transform the dried, marbled papers into all kinds of papercraft: cards, collages, nameplates for bedroom doors, and whatever else the beautiful paper inspires us to make!

Drop off: 10:45-11am (Programming begins at 11am)
Lunch: 12:30-1pm
Pick up: 3-3:15pm (Programming ends at 3pm)
